Your first message can go without your name. Until they reply, at most 3 messages go through and no photos can be sent.

You don’t see who sent a message, but MeGroove knows. People who abuse it are found.
Ages 18 and over only
Your date of birth is asked at sign-up. People under 18 can’t create an account.
Your conversations are yours
- We don’t read private messages; only a reported message is reviewed.
- Messages aren’t stored permanently on our servers; they stay on your phone.
- You can delete your account at any time, in the app or on this site.
Frequently asked questions
Is MeGroove free?
Yes. Profiles, stories and messages are free. You can buy Premium and Boost if you want; both are paid through the store and cancelled in your store settings.
Can someone find out who I am from a message I sent without my name?
No. Your name, photo and username don’t appear in the message, in notifications or on any screen. Premium doesn’t reveal senders either. If you want to introduce yourself, share your profile from the chat; this can’t be undone.
What can I do if someone bothers me?
You can report the message, profile or story and block the person with one tap. Someone you block can’t write to you or see you in discover and stories.
Why can I send at most 3 messages before a reply?
So nobody is pushed into a chat they don’t want. Once they reply, the limit is lifted and you can send photos.
Who can use MeGroove?
Only people aged 18 and over. Your date of birth is asked at sign-up; your age shows on your profile, your date of birth never does.
Can I see who viewed my story?
No. You only see how many people viewed and liked it. Who viewed it is never shown to anyone.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete my account, or use the account deletion page on this site.
